I am a freelance videographer and I am researching methods of live video streaming. We've looked through the Blackmagic discussion boards, and folks there who'd encountered the same issues said they thought it was an FMLE update (although I've never seen anyone post about a successful solution to the problem), and so we've tried uninstalling FMLE 3.2 and installing FMLE 3.1, and then also tried taking the Blackmagic drivers back a version, but always with the same weird behavior.Īny insights you folks could give would be much appreciated, and even access to downloads of earlier versions of FMLE might be worth a try. We're able to make it work fine to view and record video/audio through Blackmagic Media Express (bundled with the card) through both SDI and HDMI. The only luck we've had is with switching over to HDMI (which is not ideal from our production flow), which shows up correctly, and we can even get it to work with SDI sometimes if we start with it on HDMI when we open FMLE, and we change the input to SDI within the Decklink Control Panel before starting the stream. ![]() As far as we know, there were no changes to the system other than any updates to Windows, the Decklink software, or FMLE. We have tried this out with an identical setup (same model of Decklink card, motherboard, etc.) and had the identical issues. FMLE tended to show no picture/audio levels, and freeze whenever you tried to go into video settings (or sometimes clicking on any other setting to change it) it also would sometimes display the hallmarks of a memory leak in the Task Manager. Over the summer, the encoder wasn't used (I work in education), and when we came back to it this fall, video would not work at all from SDI. We had used a setup with HD-SDI into a Decklink 4k Extreme card through Flash Media Live Encoder 3.2 on Windows 7 64-bit to stream successfully this spring. ![]() And in late 1944 into 1945, nearly half the pilots in Japanese squadrons had flown fewer than 200 hours.
